Engagement Quality Control Review (EQCR)
This module allows you to maintain records related to Engagement Quality Control Reviews, ensuring audit quality and compliance before the final report is issued.
Basic Information
The Basic Info tab captures the core details of the review. Selecting an Audit File will automatically populate related fields such as the Client, Audit Type, and Audit Period.
Note:
- EQC Reviewer: You must select a reviewer. The system ensures that the Engagement Partner and the EQC Reviewer cannot be the same person.
- EQC Review Date: This date is mandatory for submission and cannot be later than the Audit Report signing date.

Important Actions:
- Add Default Rows: If the table is empty, Audit Partners can use this button to populate the standard set of considerations.
- Is OK: Every row in this table must be marked as "Is OK" before the document can be submitted.

- Discussion: Record matters discussed, dates, and summaries regarding GAAP/GAAS concerns.
- Unresolved Differences: Record any differences of opinion between the Engagement Partner (EP) and the EQC Reviewer, including their respective viewpoints.

Possible Error Messages and Remedies
| Error Message | Remedial Action |
|---|---|
| Audit File Engagement Partner and EQC Reviewer cannot be the same | Select a different user for the EQC Reviewer field. The partner in charge of the audit cannot review their own work. |
| EQR has already been created for the selected audit file. Reference Name | An active EQCR document already exists for this Audit File. Please edit the existing record instead of creating a new one. |
| Only EQC Reviewer Can Submit | The current user does not match the assigned "EQC Reviewer". Only the assigned reviewer can perform the final submission. |
| EQC Review Date should not be later than Audit Report signing date | Adjust the EQC Review Date. The quality review must be completed on or before the audit report is signed. |
| All rows in the key consideration table should be checked as OK | Go to the "Key Considerations" tab and ensure the checkbox in the "Is OK" column is checked for every row. |
| File URL must start with 'https://' for storage platforms other than LAN | Check the Attachments tab. If linking to an external file, ensure the URL is secure (starts with https). |
